A Church which ‘goes forth’ is a Church whose doors are open…Often it is better simply to slow down, to put aside our eagerness in order to see and listen to others, to stop rushing from one thing to another and to remain with someone who has faltered along the way.” Pope Francis in Evangelii Gaudium

Three nights this summer, our communities will invite neighbors and guests in to see a beautiful church and to light a candle for peace.

Friday, July 13
Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist (Bastille Days – 812 N Jackson St)

Saturday, July 28
Three Holy Women-St. Hedwig Church (Brady Street Festival – 1702 N Humboldt Ave)

Saturday, September 15
Immaculate Conception Church (Bayview Bash – 1023 E Russell Ave)

Can you help in one of the following areas?
-Come pray in the church
-Greet/welcome people at the door
-Invite our neighbors into the church

The Sacrament of Reconciliation, Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction will also take place. Please contact Chad Griesel at grieselc@archmil.org to volunteer or ask any questions.
