How do we care for our common home?

Beginning September 1 the Family of Four Parishes, in partnership with the Riverwest Food Pantry, will be offering a small group opportunity called “Sacred Land: Food & Farming”. Join us for eight Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm online via Microsoft Teams as we explore our connection with the land and those who live on it. Participants will learn how food and farming practices affect the climate crisis, marginalized communities, and their own health and spiritual wellbeing. We will also discuss practical ways to support, advocate for and implement sustainable food and farming practices in the communities and institutions of which we are a part — whether it’s in our workplace, congregation, apartment complex or neighborhood. We will each work toward a plan of action based on what we learn.
